I'm 18 Weeks Old

I'm a big girl now - Mom has stopped my 10 pm feeding and I've slept thru the night (6:30 pm to 6 am) two nights in a row. I also started carrots today and I love them - I now eat carrots, apples and oatmeal!

I love my new toy

I'm getting so big that Mom brought down my play center - it was a gift from Rob and Laurel Bessler. It makes all kinds of noise and when my legs get long enough I'll be able to roll around the house. It made me laugh the first time Mom put me in it - then I started crying. Now I love it.

4 Month Check-up

I saw the doctor today and I was tricked. Mom and Grandma said we were going out to shop - I thought we were going the mall - turns out they actually said we were going for SHOTS - not to the shops - I was fooled!! I now weigh 14.9 lbs and am 26 inches long. I'm in the 95th percentile for height and 75th for weight.

Happy Easter

I started getting my teeth today and it hurts. So I decided to cry through everyone's dinner. I did get to meet Darlene and Rob Spurrier - they're friends of Grandma and Grandpa's and knew Mom and Uncle Bill when they were very little.

What? Food doesn't have to be liquid?

Elizabeth is now eating Oatmeal! She had her first spoonfuls on Friday, March 14. I was sure that it was going to be all over the place (me, Elizabeth, the floor etc), but surprisingly it wasn't too messy. Elizabeth ate 2 tbsp of oatmeal mixed with 2 ounces of formula - and managed to get 95% of that in her mouth and into her belly. She's now getting oatmeal 2 times a day and we're going to start other foods this week. Can't believe she's starting to eat!!

I can roll over!!!

Elizabeth rolled over today - on purpose!! She's rolled over a few times before, but today she did it several times in a row! We managed to get one of the rolls on video. She of course spit up as soon as she rolled over =)

I love my Bumbo!!

We got a Bumbo for Elizabeth - a foam molded seat that allows infants to sit up. She loves it!!

Catching up

So I haven't been updating this site very well, but now that we're in our groove I'm going to tackle again. Elizabeth is 3 months old now and is a very happy sweet little girl. She loves to babble and talk to us. This video is a typical "conversation" that she and I have in the mornings.
