Sloppy Joes and Chocolate Pudding

Elizabeth enjoyed sloppy joes and chocolate pudding for dinner tonight - we had to hose her off afterwards =)

Happy Fourth of July

We had a wonderful Fourth of July at the Leicht House last weekend. Ned and Patrick joined us for a tasty BBQ and good times. Elizabeth spent the afternoon playing peek-a-boo with the boys and blowing bubbles.

Visiting the Zoo

The World Famous San Diego Zoo opened a new exhibit recently - Elephant Odyssey. Grandma, Elizabeth and Mom and visited the zoo to check it out and a great time was had by all. We even got to see the elephants have lunch!

Elizabeth vs. The Refridgerator

A taste of the wild woman to come. Elizabeth decided that falling on the tile was just not enough of a stunt...she had to run headfirst, falling into the fridge last night. She hardly even made a peep and just kept on playing and eating her dinner...she is going to be a tough little cookie!

Spending some time with the wildlife

This weekend, Jamie's parents hooked us all up with a private tour at the Wild Animal Park. We got to take the caravan through the enclosures and see all the animals up close. It was really cool, with the best part being the feeding of the giraffes. Anyone can take the tour through the park, but we got the whole truck to ourselves. Our guides Lee and Josie were super cool and very informative. Even Uncle Andy seemed to enjoy himself :)

Here are a few of the pictures from the excursion

I'm an uncle! (I guess Jamie is an aunt too)

Bill and Danielle had their baby on Saturday and she is a total cutie (would you expect anything less). London Free Leslie was born at 7 pounds and 19 inches and has a thick head of dark hair. We only got to spend a few minutes with them on Sunday, and I am looking forward to seeing more of her. It has been a really fun trip watching Elizabeth grow up and it is going to be neat watching London go through the same things that Elizabeth went through, and equally neat to watch Bill and Danielle go through the same things we went through.

Congrats to Bill and Danielle and both the Free and Leslie families for this awesome addition to the family!

That glare could cut stone...

Well the day is finally here. I got "The Glare" from Elizabeth. She kept dumping water out of the tub and on the 3rd time, I raised my voice and said "NO! We do not pour water on the floor", and took her illuminated margarita glass away (another story for another day).

She gave me this glare. This glare that says, "How dare you talk to me that way!" Then she gave me puppy dog eyes that said "I thought you loved me?"

I can see that this is how it all begins...the great manipulation of daddy! A secret book of rules and procedures passed down from generation to generation on how to get what you want from daddy. I WILL NOT BE BROKEN! (at least not this week, maybe next time :)

Bad publicist!

So i have been a very bad PR guy for our family. We have completely fallen off the radar. Well i am going to work to get us going again for all 1 of you that follows us. Start checking back regularly and I will do my best to update everyone on the clan!
